The Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) has announced three finalists for "Outstanding Young Farm Family" and two of them are participants in the Kentucky Hemp Pilot Program. Congratulations to our very own Kentucky Hempsters educational partners, Matt and Amanda Gajdzik, along with hemp farmers Ben and Katie Furnish, for your dedication to the family farm and being innovators in the industrial hemp industry.
The "Outstanding Young Farm Family" competition recognized an individual or couple under the age of 35 who has demonstrated strong management skills, consistent financial growth, and highest level of involvement in both the Farm Bureau, and in their community.
Many of you keeping up with our content or events will recognize the Gajdzik's from Mulberry Orchard! We are so fortunate to have been partnered with Matt and Amanda the past two years working on industrial hemp research through our parent company, United Hemp Industries.
They've opened their research fields for our events, and even let us plant a demonstration plot near the main pavilion to educate visitors. This is a family beyond deserving of this recognition!
