The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana's Peach Jam at Mulberry Orchard took place on Saturday, July 30th, 2016. Kentucky Hempsters we were happy to participate, using United Hemp Industries' hemp research projects to educate visitors about industrial hemp! This year, Kentucky Hempsters partnered with Gajdzik Farms/Mulberry Orchard to conduct hemp research projects, and to provide hemp education to the local community.
Hay rides were $1/person but they should have called them "hemp" rides since every one had a chance to check out the hemp research plots! Kentucky Hempsters also have a small demonstration plot next to the Mulberry Orchard pavilion that visitors were able to see, feel, and ask questions about! Check out some photos of the event below.
